Bruce Boyd Williams Phiri Alumni Profile

Bruce Phiri holds the Masters in Biostatistics degree from Chancellor College, University of Malawi. He joined the programme in September 2011 and graduated in 2015. His thesis was on “Modelling Co-occurrence of Schistosomiasis and Hookworm infection using Bivariate Count Models”. His supervisor was Associate Professor Dr. Lawrence Kazembe. He is in the process of publishing his thesis work.

After graduating, he got a job at Prime Health Consulting and Services working as Statistician and Data Manager and as Capacity Development Manager for 1 year before he joined Save the Children International as Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Coordinator for the Humanitarian Response Projects where he currently works.
