Davis James Makupe Alumni Profile

James Makupe is a graduate from The Polytechnic, University of Malawi. He joined the Masters in Biostatistics programme in September, 2012. He is currently finalizing his thesis work titled “An application of random effect models to analyze contraceptive use in Malawian women: A Bayesian approach”. His supervisor is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lawrence Kazembe. Davis has since secured a job as Assistant Lecturer in the Mathematics and Statistics Department at the Polytechnic, University of Malawi.
