Gracious Hamuza Alumni Profile

Gracious Hamuza is Masters in Biostatistics graduate from Chancellor College, University of Malawi where he also received his undergraduate studies.

He also possesses a Diploma and a Certificate in Statistics, both from East African Statistical Institute in Tanzania. He joined the Masters in Biostatistics programme in September 2010 and defended his thesis in October 2012 and later graduated in June 2013.

His thesis titled “Non-parametric regression and spatial variation of Malaria incidence: Linking disease risk to climatic variability” was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jimmy Namangale. He has since presented and published his paper as a conference proceeding. He plans to study for PhD in the area of infectious disease modelling.
